THE PALETTEER PATTER NEWSLETTER:
1.  At the April 17th, last meeting of this Season, 9:30 a.m. at Corkill
 Palms Mobile Home Park, it will be our privilege to have Alice Leggett 
professional Portrait Artist from Costa Mesa.  She will be doing a 
take-home oil portrait of one of you, the winning Raffle Winner in a

at the Orange County Fair and exhibits at the Sawdust Winter Fantasy as

2.  Since last years season we have been attempting to schedule a 
 Paletteers Club event Field Trip, to the Gourde Art Farm.  For those 
who are able,  meet at the Desert Crest Country Club/Mobile Home Park 
Clubhouse,  East of Desert Hot Springs, off of Dillon, just before 
Corkhill Palms, at 69-400 S. Country Club Drive, Desert Edge... on 
Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. to go by Car Caravan to the Gourde 
Art Farm at 40635 De Luz Road, Fall brook, Ca. 92028,

 $20.00 Buffet Soup Salad Dessert:  Featuring  the Art Collection of 
Steve Quintanilla "Capturing Our Desert Varmints in Art"  The talk and 
show will focus on the many artists who discovered the beauty and 
intrigue of our indigenous local wildlife.
4. YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE WITH YOUR ART:   Be involved and donate a 
painting or a portion of your sales to benefit the Soroptimist House of 
Hope.  ARTISTS FOR RECOVERY, April 19th, 2013, 4:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at 
The Corridor, 515 N. Palm Canyon Dr. Palm Springs, Ca. Help break the 
Stigma of seeking help for Mental Illness and Addiction.  The 
Soroptimist House of Hope is a non-profit treatment center for Women in 
Desert Hot Springs.  The event is sponsored by Michael's House in 
Partnership with Heroes in Recovdery.  For more information on this
